On-Call Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated On-Call Registered Nurse to join our team. This unique role offers full-time pay for working every other week, providing after-hours care and support to our participants in their homes. Schedule OvernightWeekdays: On-Call from 3:30 PM - 8:30 AM (Monday-Friday) EVERY OTHER WEEK ONLY Weekends: 24-hour on-call coverage (Saturday & Sunday) EVERY OTHER WEEKEND ONLY Service Area Homestead, Wilkinsburg, and surrounding communities Key Responsibilities Provide after-hours nursing care and support to older adult participants Assess and manage episodic illnesses in collaboration with the on-call provider Deliver prescribed treatments and nursing interventions Educate participants and caregivers on care plans and health management Document all care and changes in condition promptly and accurately Coordinate care and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active RN license in Pennsylvania Valid PA driver's license Minimum 1 year of experience with frail or elderly populations (home care, long-term care, or community health preferred) Experience in patient and caregiver education is a plus Benefits Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Life & Long-Term Disability Insurance Automatic 403(b) Retirement Plan Contribution Tuition Reimbursement Mileage Reimbursement at Federal Rate Uniform Allowance Daily Pay Available About Community LIFE Community LIFE is committed to supporting older adults (55+) in living independently within their communities.
