Lead Testing Analyst

Work Location: This position is HybridJob Description: We Are Seeking an experienced Lead Testing Analyst to oversee quality assurance testing activities for enterprise applications supporting public health and critical records systems. This role focuses on coordinating testing teams, ensuring application quality, supporting Agile delivery, and driving continuous improvement in testing practices while maintaining strong collaboration with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders. Responsibilities: • Lead and coordinate software testing activities across multiple applications and projects. • Plan testing schedules, prepare estimates, and align testing resources with project timelines and budgets. • Review requirements, user stories, and design documents to ensure they are testable and meet quality standards. • Develop test plans, test cases, and related documentation for functional, integration, load, and automated testing. • Execute tests, manage defects through resolution, and maintain test logs and documentation. • Provide regular status updates, metrics, reports, and presentations on testing progress and quality results. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, retrospectives, and project meetings. • Support automated testing initiatives, including script creation, maintenance planning, and execution. • Ensure proper test data management, environment setup, authentication configuration, and role-based testing. • Mentor testing team members, promote best practices, and support continuous process improvement. Required Skills: • 8+ years leading QA, functional, and system integration testing on enterprise software projects. • 8+ years coordinating user acceptance testing and supporting project delivery. • 5+ years managing defect tracking, prioritization, and test documentation. • 5+ years mentoring QA team members and promoting testing best practices. • 5+ years using test management tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms. • 3+ years working with automated testing tools (e.g., Provar, Selenium, SmartBear). • Experience preparing testing metrics, closure documentation, and transitioning projects to maintenance. • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, software testing frameworks, and QA processes. • Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills • Experience supporting public sector or health-related systems. • Familiarity with automated test data management and environment configuration practices. • Experience producing executive-level testing reports and performance metrics.Available Benefits: • Medical Benefits (Platinum level plans available) • Work from home / Hybrid / Onsite options • PTO • Holiday Pay • VTO • 401K • Charitable Match • Training reimbursement About KēSTA I.T.:Our name says it all; KēSTA I.T.
