Sapphire Health Services is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and uphold our commitment to excellence. JOB SUMMARY: The Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) provides flexible, high-quality nursing care across multiple skilled nursing and Post-Acute care communities. This role supports clinical teams where needs are greatest and is ideal for nurses who enjoy variety, adaptability, and building strong working relationships across different care settings. RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with RN scope of practice Conduct resident assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans Administer medications and treatments as ordered Monitor resident condition and respond to changes appropriately Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams Supervise and support LPNs, CMAs, and CNAs as assigned Ensure accurate, timely documentation per regulatory and facility standards Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life Adhere to infection control, safety, and compliance protocols Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS:Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the State of practice At least 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or acute care setting preferred Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric care Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, bending, standing, and assisting residents with mobility Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
