Our institute delivers comprehensive, patient-centered oncology care in a modern, community-based setting with access to advanced technology, clinical trials, and multidisciplinary expertise. We are seeking a Medical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join a collaborative and highly specialized oncology team. Work alongside 8+ Medical Oncologists and multiple on-site oncology subspecialists Practice in a state-of-the-art, 25,000 sq. ft. Cancer Institute Strong multidisciplinary support, including: Nurse navigators Oncology-specialized social workers Financial coordinators Onsite lab and infusion pharmacy Nutrition, wellness, survivorship, and support group programs Access to clinical trials and cutting-edge cancer research Collaborative environment where APPs are valued clinical partners Position Overview The Medical Oncology APP plays an integral role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the ambulatory oncology setting. Under physician supervision, the APP practices at the top of their license and works closely with the oncology care team to manage patients throughout their treatment journey. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient interviews, assessments, and physical examinations Manage follow-up visits, symptom management, and treatment-related toxicities Order and interpret diagnostic studies Prescribe medications and initiate appropriate treatment plans Provide patient education and counseling Perform procedures as credentialed Maintain accurate and timely documentation Qualifications Physician Assistant Graduate of an accredited PA program Minimum Bachelor's degree Current PA-C certification Nurse Practitioner Graduate of an accredited NP program Current RN license Current AANP or ANCC certification Experience & Certifications Minimum 2 years of APP experience in a physician practice or ambulatory setting preferred Oncology/Hematology experience strongly preferred (training considered for strong candidates with interest in oncology) BLS/ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only) DEA registration required for those with discharge responsibilities Our Culture We offer a collegial, team-oriented environment that emphasizes collaboration, respect, and professional growth.
