Role: Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with Linux Location - Chicago, IL (Day 1 Onsite) Duration - 6+ Months Visa: GC & USC JD: Minimum 10 plus experience Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles, with a focus on Snowflake. Proficient in SQL, database modeling, and query optimization. Strong knowledge of Snowflake-specific features like Snowpipe, Task, Streams, Time Travel, and Cloning. Hands-on experience with data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Matillion, etc.). Solid understanding of Linux systems, shell scripting, and command-line utilities. Experience with Python or Java for data processing and automation. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize workflows. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
