Construction Superintendent

Job Title: Construction SuperintendentJob Description We are seeking a high-level Construction Superintendent with a strong background in civil and site work. This position involves managing the first phase of a major multi-billion-dollar advanced technology development project. The role is based in Syracuse, NY, and involves around 50 hours of work per week. Responsibilities Manage and oversee subcontractors to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. Implement and enforce construction safety processes and ensure compliance with the project safety plan. Oversee all phases of construction, including land clearing, mass grading, utility and infrastructure corridors, roadways, soil replacement, and stormwater management. Coordinate the installation of security infrastructure, including permanent perimeter fencing and temporary fencing as needed. Utilize knowledge of construction documents and drawings to guide project execution. Ensure efficient scheduling and cost control throughout the project. Participate in and facilitate the Pull Planning Process to optimize project timelines. Essential Skills Strong background in civil and site work. Subcontractor management experience. OSHA 30 certification. Proficiency in construction management. Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-standard construction software tools. Experience with construction safety processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Construction-document and drawing literacy. Experience in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control. Familiarity with the Pull Planning Process. Work Environment This position is based full-time on-site in a field trailer environment with additional office facilities available in downtown Syracuse. The role involves a rotation with five days of work per week and alternating Saturdays. This project covers 680 acres as part of a multi-decade plan to expand domestic chip manufacturing, offering long-term employment opportunities.
