We are currently seeking a .NET Developer to support our Client in Albany, NY. This is a 100% onsite role. The .NET Developer conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user's requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and can put procedures in a logical sequence. Candidates can work independently, without assistance and provide guidance to others. May have advanced education. Job Duties: Work directly with business analysts, program subject matter experts and technical staff to create robust test plans in Client ALM for web applications. Perform testing (System, End-to-End Integration, Automated, Performance, Smoke, Black Box, White Box, Usability, and Fail-Over tests), including troubleshooting and issue resolution Work with automation testing QTP (Quick Test Pro), Win Runner, and/or Client UFT; recording and scripting automated functional tests; assist in building UFT automated Scripting Framework for NYBE application Perform application testing based on written test scripts; create, manage and execute functional test and regression test scripts. Document, track, research, test, and communication defects using Client LM. Write and execute test plans in Client ALM. Perform software Black Box and White Box testing and debugging in different phases of software development life cycle. Assist in developing scripts for Regression Testing Automation tools and Performance Testing Automation tools Work with performance testing tools like Load Runner, Astra Load Test to perform load, performance, and break testing Develop generic reusable functions and scripts Possess an understanding of programming languages PL/SQL, SQL, Java, VB, .Net, HTML, TSL, PHP, C#, JavaScript's. Develop detailed technical documentation Familiarize with NYS NYBE and associated systems and gain expertise to provide support. Work with team to perform NYBE application testing for new and existing versions. Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Participate in technical meetings and support calls. Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work well with team members and communicate with agencies effectively. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 60 months minimum of experience with VB script background, and C#, Java or Python along with Selenium to create automation test scripts 60 months minimum experience as lead development in developing web-based systems using Microsoft ASP.Net Web Forms and C# 60 months minimum working experience in automation testing QTP (Quick Test Pro), Win Runner, and/or Client UFT. 60 months minimum of working experience in using Ruby on rails for NYBE SOA SOAPUI project testing, or Restful Postman project testing. 60 months' minimum working experience in performance testing tools like Load Runner 72 months minimum of working experience performing application testing based on written test scripts in Ruby language, using SOUPUI to test RESTFUL and SOAP API services, or use Postman to test RESTFUL services. 72 months of programming languages experience in PL/SQL, SQL, Java, VB, .Net, HTML, TSL, PHP, C#, Java scripts and Ruby Minimum of 72 months experience with hands on programming on the .Net (4.0+) platform using C# and MCF services, and web applications in responsive web design Minimum of 60 months of experience working in architecture, engineering, design and development services using MongoDB 60 months experience in developing Dynamic Components, Modules, Services and Custom Filters using Vue JS, Angular, AXIOS and VUEX to access REST APIs.
