Rotating days with a requirement of 3-6 cases per day. Weeknight call requirements of 1-2 nights per week on average. Weekend call required every 1-2 weekends on average. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated. Experience with the following CVOR cases is required: CABG, MVR, AVR, Aortic Root, Aortic Dissection, LVAD, Heart Transplant, Lung Transplant, Aortic Aneurysm Repair. First-time travelers are not accepted for this position. Experience with General Surgery is required, and the candidate will float to other service lines. DaVinci experience is highly preferred. Level 1 Trauma experience is highly preferred. Candidates must complete all compliance documents before the start. The facility is a 100% nicotine-free environment. Requested time off must be included at the time of submission. No requests for time off will be accepted during the first week of orientation. Candidates must attend a mandatory charting class during orientation week. Scrubs must be Steele gray with the facility logo. All contracts must end on a Sunday.
