About the RoleThe Columbus Crew is seeking a Manager, Data Analysis to join the business analytics team. This role will lead the delivery of data-driven insights that support key business functions across the Club, including Ticketing, Marketing, and Corporate Partnerships.The Manager, Data Analysis will serve as a trusted analytics partner to business stakeholders, translating data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, fan engagement, and strategic decision-making. This position reports to the Haslam Sports Group's Manager of Data Analysis and collaborates closely with analytics and data partners who support both the Columbus Crew and Cleveland Browns.Key Responsibilities Lead data analysis efforts for the Columbus Crew, supporting Ticketing, Marketing, and Corporate Partnerships initiativesPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to define analytical needs, deliver insights, and inform strategic and operational decisionsDevelop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reporting solutions to support both recurring and ad-hoc business questionsWork closely with the Haslam Sports Group Data Architecture team to develop, automate, and streamline scalable reporting solutionsSupport ticketing strategy through analysis related to pricing, sales performance, forecasting, and budgetingAnalyze marketing and fan engagement data to evaluate campaign performance, acquisition, and retention effortsProvide analytical support for Corporate Partnerships, including sponsorship performance, asset valuation, and partner ROIEnsure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across all analytics and reporting outputsCollaborate with the broader Haslam Sports Group Analytics team to align tools, definitions, and best practicesClearly communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organizationRequired Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical field, or equivalent professional experience5-8 years of experience in an analytics or business intelligence role, preferably within the sports industryExperience supporting business functions such as ticketing, marketing, revenue, or partnershipsProficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying large datasetsExperience developing data visualizations and dashboards, preferably using TableauStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsAbility to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiencesStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPreferred Qualifications Experience working with an MLS club or professional sports organizationFamiliarity with CRM, ticketing, marketing, or sponsorship dataExperience with programming or scripting languages such as Python or RExperience mentoring or supporting the development of junior analystsWork Environment This is a full-time position. Must be able to work flexible, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.Role will be based in Columbus, Ohio, with collaboration across Haslam Sports Group
