License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Must-Have: - Experience with chest tubes, lines, and drains for post-surgical patients - Familiarity with telemetry and central line care - Ability to manage complex wounds - Experience with administering drips such as diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical / Surgical specialty. The position involves providing care to a wide variety of medical patients. Patients may present with acute or chronic illnesses such as sepsis and various infectious processes. Experience with conditions like acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and diabetes is essential. Nurses will also work with patients experiencing GI issues, fluid/electrolyte imbalances, and alcohol withdrawal. Knowledge of liver disease, substance misuse, endocarditis, and heart disease is important. Experience with skin/wound issues and acute or chronic respiratory illnesses, including COPD, flu, and pneumonia, is required. The unit serves adult patients requiring specialized care. Candidates must be comfortable with high-acuity and diverse patient populations. On-call duties may be required.
