Assembly - Contractor - A | Tempe, Arizona, United States Description: Schedule: Compressed Shift 1B (Thu, Fri, Sat and e/o Wed 5am - 5pm) -Contractor Not required to work in a clean room env. for this one (if they want to convert to an FTE they will have to work in the clean room sometimes) Job Description: Tube Assembly operators perform day to day production activities by using most current procedures to maintain production schedules. Essential Responsibilities: • Ability to wear required PPE to fullfill shift duties: smock, hairnet, gloves, facemask, and safety glasses. • Use hand tools, spot welders, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products using detailed documented procedures. • Follow all policies, procedures, and drawings for accuracy and quality. • Perform visual checks of product to assure quality. • Identify non-conforming parts following documented procedures. • Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high quality products. • Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals. • Must have strong problem solving, analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility. • Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email) • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to read drawings/blueprints/work instructions. • Must be able to clearly read and write in English. Basic Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of prior manufacturing related experience.
