Project Engineer

Education: • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology Qualifications: • 8-10 years of Facilities Project Management experience • Proficient in Creo 3D CAD modeling and drawing applications (Inventor/SolidWorks will work too) • Working knowledge of MS Project, Primavera • High degree of experience and expertise in designing and/or redesigning service systems such as heat treat equipment, material handling systems, filtration systems, or paint systems • Understanding of effective communication concepts Job Duties: • Facilitate short-term and long-term capital projects for capacity increases • The main function of a project engineer is to estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment or labor to determine project feasibility. • A typical project engineer has knowledge of engineering technology, building and construction and public safety and security. • They must have solid decision making skills and be a critical thinker.
