Schedule 4x12-Hour shifts, 7 PM - 7 AM, weekdays, and every other weekend. Job Description The Intermediate Care Unit RN will provide care to a variety of medical patients, including those with respiratory issues, DKA, arrhythmias, postoperative kidney transplant patients, and interventional neurological patients. The unit has 8 IMC beds and 10 observation beds, staffed separately, allowing for a diverse range of clinical scenarios. ResponsibilitiesCaring for patients with telemetry and surgical needs, as well as the renal population. Interpreting and managing dysrhythmias and ventilator management. Maintaining a patient ratio of 3:1 for IMCU and 4:1 for medical/surgical units. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in specialty care. BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA certified).
