Key Responsibilities Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging. Prioritize patient safety and comfort during procedures, ensuring clear explanations are provided. Work in tandem with radiologists and referring physicians to produce quality diagnostic images. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment diligently, reporting any malfunctions as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and manage patient records through our electronic medical system. Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices. Educational Background Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field. CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is highly preferred. Required Certifications Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred. Essential Skills Solid technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
