Job Description Create Customized Treatment Strategies: Assess patients' unique needs and develop tailored therapy plans aimed at helping them achieve their personal goals. Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities. Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely alongside occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care. Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their loved ones on therapy techniques to facilitate progress at home. Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, adapting treatment plans when necessary to ensure patients remain on their path to recovery. Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school. Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported. Certifications Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.
