Summary: The Account Planner is responsible for executing material planning activities that support the production schedule, ensuring materials and ingredients are available to meet customer and manufacturing requirements. This role focuses on using data and reports to execute inventory coordination, delivery schedule management, and ongoing communication with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to address changes and risks as they arise. This position operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent schedule adjustments and requires close coordination across multiple systems and stakeholders. Role Purpose: The Account Planner is responsible for executing material planning to achieve customer fill rates, along with supporting the CBG production schedule, ensuring materials and ingredients are available to meet customer and manufacturing requirements. This role focuses on analyzing and interpreting system data, inventory coordination, delivery schedule management, and ongoing communication with internal and customer teams, and suppliers to address changes and risks as they arise. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned Material Planning & Execution Run, maintain, and analyze system data and reports to determine material requirements aligned with production timelines. Coordinate material and ingredient availability based on production schedules. Manage inventory levels and address slow-moving and obsolete materials with customers. Adjust delivery schedules in response to production changes, customer requests, or supply constraints. Systems, Data & Reporting Execute and maintain data accuracy across planning systems and customer portals Run and analyze reports to identify risks and constraints. Maintain Look Ahead and other working documents to monitor material readiness. Track KPIs related to material availability and inventory health. Adjust schedules and resources as needed to meet changing Coordination & Communication Serve as a primary point of contact for material-related coordination. Communicate risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders. Participate in customer, production, and planning meetings. Operational Support & On-Call Respond to material-related issues impacting production. Participate in a defined on-call rotation, including evenings or weekends as required to support production. Work Schedule & Availability Standard business hours with additional hours as required. On-call rotation is required with responsiveness to urgent issues. Workload reviewed periodically based on staffing and demand. Measures of Success Consistent material availability aligned with production schedules. Reduced production disruptions. Accurate execution of MRP/ATP planning. Effective stakeholder communication. Drive on-time delivery of materials with customers and suppliers to align with production timeline. Align material inventory levels to meet warehouse capacity and production schedule. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or related field. 3+ years of material planning or manufacturing planning experience. ERP/MRP experience (SAP preferred). Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills.
