Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:Job Description: We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. This position makes for a stable workweek for those who need to enjoy a familiar and consistent schedule. THIS POSITION REQUIRES: Proficient in SolidWorks. Hydraulics knowledge. Materials knowledge (various metals and plastics). Designing and testing new products. Designing molded components. Improvements to existing products Sourcing parts and materials. Develop BOMs. Good understanding of the principles of mechanical engineering QUALIFICATIONS Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSME). Two years of experience in Mechanical Design with an emphasis in hydraulics. A quick learner with good communication skills. A team player who is positive and motivated with a strong work ethic. Working with a team to achieve results. Plumbing and electrical experience a plus, but not necessary. Experience in electrical components, construction and/or maintenance services is preferred, but not required. MUST HAVE Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. 2 years of experience in Mechanical Design with an emphasis in hydraulics. Experience in Materials (various metals and plastics).
