Title: IT Budget Management Support Consultant Experience: 6-10 Years Location: NYC - Hybrid (3 days onsite) - Locals only Duration: 6-Month Contract (possible extension) Role Overview Our client, a top-tier bank, is seeking an IT Budget Management Support Consultant to assist with IT financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities. This role works closely with IT leadership and Finance teams to support budget planning, cost optimization, and financial reporting initiatives that enable informed decision-making across technology functions. Responsibilities Support development and monitoring of annual IT operating and capital budgets Analyze budget variances and spending trends, providing financial insights to leadership Identify opportunities for cost optimization and manage vendor expenditure tracking Develop and maintain budget reporting and financial tracking processes Support implementation of budget controls and financial governance processes Collaborate with IT, Finance, and global stakeholders to align financial planning with IT initiatives Requirements Experience supporting IT budget planning and financial analysis functions Strong understanding of budget forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting Experience tracking and optimizing technology spend or vendor costs Strong Excel and financial reporting skills Ability to collaborate with IT and Finance stakeholders in enterprise environments Strong communication and analytical skills
