CNC Operator- 2nd shift- $2 PER HOUR SHIFT PREMIUM

Colson Group is seeking a CNC Machinist in our Albion, MI facility. The CNC Machinist will machine parts per the job order on CNC (lathe, Mill) equipment per job orders. Parts will meet all quality requirements as designated. Primary Responsibilities: 1) Read job orders and machine parts per the requirements 2) Load / Unload parts (up to 35 lbs. each) correctly 3) Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and dedicated gauges 4) Accurately record production in the ERP system Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: - Minimum 1 to 2 years of CNC machining experience - Ability to read and understand blue prints - Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and dedicated gauges - Ability to use an ERP system to record production - Ability to make program edits a plus - Ability to load and unload parts weighing up to 35 lbs. each Requirements - Previous CNC experience required - Ability to read and write - Ability to stand, bend, and lift repeatedly for 8 or more hours
