Benchtop Assembler - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:• Job Title: Benchtop Assembler• Pay Rate: $18.00/hr• Location: Saint Paul, MN• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3PM• Position Type: Temp to HireRequirements and Qualifications:• Assembly skills.• Experience using basic hand tools.• Basic computer skills.• Dexterity to work with small components.• Wire, electronic or soldering experience a huge plus, but not required. • Positive attitude • Mechanical aptitude.• Ability to lift 5-10lbs.• Ability to standing or sitting for long durations of time.• Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble and operate hand tools.Duties and Responsibilities:• Assemble products and electronic sign components.• Cut, strip and crimp wires.• Connect wires to terminals (not electrically charged).• Interpreting written instructions.• Use screw drivers and drills to fasten and secure components.• Working with team members in order to assemble products.• Use of basic hand tools in production process.• Performing repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.• Basic computer work.Discover Award Staffing: At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck-it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
