The Home Health Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy for our in-home patients in accordance with the individual patient's needs and goals as addressed in the plan of care . The Occupational Therapist must have knowledge and understanding of a patient's illness or injury and the ability to assess their needs and plan appropriate interventions. The position works as part of an interdisciplinary home care team including RNs, PTs, SLPs, MSWs, and other licensed and certified professionals to assist the patient in achieving optimal outcomes. Requirements for the Home Health Occupational Therapist: Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. Possess a current license as an occupational therapist from the Commonwealth of PA or have made application for same. Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an occupational therapist. Provide a valid driver's license and have use of an automobile in good working condition with evidence of insurance per PA State guidelines. Maintain CPR Certification per company guidelines. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 software and the ability to use electronic charting software and mobile devices.
