Required Skills: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, with CVICU experience highly preferred Proficient in Epic electronic health record system Ability to manage a 1:2 patient ratio, with flexibility to 1:3 as needed Strong clinical skills including lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts Knowledge of advanced equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, Servo ventilators, CRRT Dialysis machines, and cardiac monitors Willingness to float to various units including ICU, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently and accurately Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Impella and CRRT/NXStage devices (required for some procedures) Experience with Epic or similar EHR systems Certification in CPI or willingness to obtain at the facility Knowledge of infection control for isolation patients Experience with various patient management systems and advanced cardiac equipment Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Current valid RN license Relevant ICU and CVICU experience, particularly with complex cardiac cases Other Requirements: Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, CPI (or willing to obtain), NIH Availability for 3 night shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) Weekend shifts required (4 per 4-week schedule) Must know typical N95 mask size for infection control Limited RTO of 5 days Ability to care for COVID-19 and other infectious isolation patients This position offers an hourly pay rate of $56.95, with comprehensive benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly direct deposit, medical coverage, referral bonuses, paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and more.
