Job #: 147652 Title: Structural & Payload Design Engineer 3 Location: North Charleston, SC Salary Range: 65.91 Position: Structural & Payload Design Engineer Description: The Payloads Design Engineer 3 (Associate) manages systems associated with airplane interiors, including headers, closets, partitions, stow bins, and wiring, supporting the full product lifecycle from design through production and certification. The role develops, integrates, and documents structural and payload system requirements, performs validation and verification tests, and supports supplier performance and production activities. The engineer assists in developing new design and analysis processes, investigates emerging technologies for future products, and maintains and modifies system and component designs using 3D CAD tools.
