The main responsibility includes hands-on support for SAP-related projects, enhancements, and day-to-day system monitoring primarily for O2C Order to Cash and Service Mgmt. functions. It also includes troubleshooting issues with Radiology's use of the SAP ERP system and its integrations with key satellites (e.g. Salesforce, license management tools). This position will act as an SAP SME on business and IT projects such as product launches and new system implementations.YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis SAP-focused position requires a blend of IT/systems savvy along with strong business acumen and an ability to bridge the gap between various Bayer IT organizations and the Radiology business' user community.The primary responsibilities of this role, Manager SAP Business Process Excellence, are to: SME for commercial processes with emphasis on O2C, Service Management, and end to end software license management Support major projects affecting SAP ERP and/or its satellite systems as a business SME Monitor license related interfaces between SAP ERP and License Entitlement Systems (EMS, S4 Fiori) and the PFLR Licensing tool to detect problems. Perform triage and debugging of reported system or interface problems, performing data corrections as needed Drive SAP and satellite system changes to improve the reliability and efficiency of the overall licensing process Requirements definition/clarification and testing/deployment for ongoing projects, enhancements, and bug fixes for license related systems and interfaces, as well as general SAP O2C / SM enhancements. Execute UAT tests in the SAP SSM (Solution Manager) tool. Collaborate with Salesforce team in testing interfaces related to new product launches or other Salesforce projects, including test data setup in QA systems and debugging SAP or interface issues primarily service CRM & quoting tool. Triage and debugging of SAP/Salesforce interface problems in Production, collaborating with PI middleware and Salesforce support teams to resolve issues that often cross IT team responsibilities. Perform SAP data quality analysis and coordinate mass updates to SAP via Winshuttle, or SalesForce data fixes via existing interfaces Escalation of critical or lingering system issues to regional / global experts as needed. Documentation of system and related business processes. Develop Quick Reference Guides and training materials and conduct training sessions for end users as needed. Analysis of current business processes and propose/vet improvements to streamline the overall process. Lead process improvement projects as appropriate, involving cross-functional teams. Assist with development of business cases to justify system investments. WHO YOU AREBayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and experience with SAP ERP Order to Cash, Service Mgmt., and/or Master Data functions in an IT project/support or expert user role. Microsoft Office expertise is required, particularly Excel for data analysis and Visio for process documentation. Able to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to clarify requests and ensure correct operation / deployment of solutions. Experience working cross functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and analyze / optimize business processes. Experience working as part of a global team, including offshore organizations, is preferred. Experience with SAP interfacing techniques including IDOCs and/or APIs is required. Experience (indirect) with middleware tools such as SAP PI/CPI is preferred. Knowledge of the SAP ECC data model is preferred; able to compose efficient queries to support data quality analysis. Experience with use of Salesforce CRM platform and its interface / messaging techniques is preferred. Experience with SAP Solution Manager tool is preferred. Knowledge of Bayer standards and governance / policies regarding the maintenance and use of SAP is a plus. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with minimum of 5 years' experience with SAP ERP Order to Cash, Service Mgmt., and/or Master Data functions in an IT project/support or expert user role. 3 years' experience in the Life Sciences / Healthcare Industry. Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $96,000 - $145,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
