Invoicing Specialist

Hiring for an Accounting Assistant for a great organization!Weekly pay + benefits + flexible hoursMust Have Qualifications: 1+ year of accounting experience (AP or AR) Strong computer skills Attention to detail Description:The invoicing specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate billing of customer orders, including sales adjustments and audits when required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Prepare and distribute accurate, timely customer invoices• Process credit memos for inventory returns, customer deposits, and other necessary adjustments• Review AR aging, send monthly customer statements, and resolve any billing discrepancies• Set up new customer accounts in alignment with internal policies• Reconcile tax accounts, record accruals, and submit required tax reports• Support the collection of exemption or resale certificates and provide sales tax exemption certificates to vendors• Monitor and manage the shared inbox, ensuring prompt responses to incoming requests• Maintain strong working relationships with both external customers and internal stakeholders• Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements• Assist with month-end close activitiesSkillsAccounts receivable, Invoicing, Accounting, Invoice processing, Microsoft excel, Customer service, erp, Data entry, Reconciliation, credit research, deposit verification, aging report, month end, billing customer serviceJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Loves Park, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
