Position Goals: Safely transport school students, stakeholders and other passengers in a friendly and clean environment. Basic Job Qualifications: Previous experience as a School Bus Driver is preferred. Ability to maintain safe conditions on the bus; i.e. ensure students remain back to back and bottom to bottom. Good vision, hearing, mental alertness, dependability, and neat appearance. Flexible, cooperative attitude in working with a diverse population; students, school personnel, co-workers and all stakeholders. Directional knowledge and familiarity of Delaware's geography to quickly learn various routes. Ability to follow instructions, take direction, and take initiative as needed. Willingness to jump in and provide coverage where needed.
