RN Infectious Disease (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Infectious Disease Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Albany, NY Contract Type: Travel Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Pay: $2,322/week Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)Job Description ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Infectious Disease Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity academic hospital environment. This role supports patients requiring specialized infectious disease management and strict isolation precautions. Epic charting experience is required. A competency exam is required shortly after submission for certain experience levels. Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients with infectious diseases Follow strict isolation and infection prevention protocols Administer IV medications and antimicrobial therapies Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes Coordinate care with infectious disease and interdisciplinary teams Manage central and peripheral lines Support safe medication and specimen handling procedures Ensure compliance with PPE and exposure-control standards Document all patient care in Epic EMR Follow unit dress code and safety requirements Qualifications Active RN license required Minimum 2 years RN experience preferred At least 1 year experience in a large academic hospital setting required Infectious disease or high-isolation care experience preferred Epic charting experience required BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred Must complete required competency test within 48 hours of submission (if applicable) Must meet local candidate eligibility rules Must comply with required scrub color policy Benefits Weekly pay with competitive rates Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Referral bonuses for referring talented professionals into our network Flexible schedules and dedicated recruiter support About ATC Healthcare ATC Healthcare has been a leader in healthcare staffing for nearly 40 years, offering personalized placement and support to healthcare professionals nationwide.
