HVAC and Facilities Maintenance Technician

Description Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM | No On-Call Hours! No Weekends! We are seeking an HVAC/R Maintenance Technician to become a part of our team! You will perform necessary work to keep machines, HVAC/R equipment, simple fuel hardware, simple carwash repairs, and structures in repair in order to reliably serve our customers in Fayette and Meriwether Counties. Every day is very different. Specialized Fuel and Carwash repairs are still outsourced to a third party. Company has more than a dozen HVAC Units and about another dozen refrigeration units that need regular maintenance and repair, along with all manner of random other items that team members, customers, ware, and time break down. Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC/R units Repair and maintain major and minor issues with various plumbing, electrical, HVACR and other equipment and buildings Order and replace broken parts or equipment Pressure/power wash facilities (including carwash, canopy, columns, restrooms and building) Perform preventative maintenance on carwashes (refilling chemicals, diagnosing and fixing minor errors, etc.) Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion; and coordinate outside vendors when necessary Maintain landscaping Maintain a clean and a safe workspace Perform any and all other duties assigned and capable of such as painting, striping, maintaining doors/locks, roofing, replacing ceiling tile, replacing light bulbs, fixing cooler doors, etc. Qualifications: HVAC/R proficiency with light plumbing and electrical skills Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment Ability to work independently Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to handle physical workload Must have own truck and basic tools (will provide gas allowance) Random items we currently have on deck at the moment: Repair Liquor Store drive-through rut out. Put up some wood paneling in an unfinished loft. Install some all in one solar lights at the top of a pole. Clear a private road of trash and debris, and clear row and underbrush. Rehang some signs on gas pumps Repair a drain line Take old broken equipment to the dump Fix a landscape waterfall feature Install basement dehumidifiers Jump off vehicles and repair tire patches Put landscaping rocks down for a new tenant Mow lawn and keep landscaping nice and clean, blow lot Change Filters, air and water Random other things all the time Requirements HVAC & Refrigeration "Freon" Knowledge and Experience Compressor/Condensor Repair and Replacement Capability Company Information THG is a growing family company with its subsidiaries Pit Stop, Liquor Barn, and Omni Fuels involved in retail, wholesale, and property development primarily in the convenience store industry but also residential.
