Position Details Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients spanning pediatric to geriatric age groups utilizing standardized assessments alongside observational methods. Create tailored treatment plans focusing on immediate and overarching communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on language, fluency, cognition, and swallowing techniques. Team up with occupational and physical therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to establish harmonious care approaches. Provide education for patients and families to boost progress beyond the clinic. Perform occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment continuum. Keep precise and timely documentation in accordance with applicable laws and organizational directives. Engage in continual learning to stay abreast of advancements in the field via professional development and peer collaborations. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for candidates not yet ASHA-certified. Required Credentials State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred but not mandatory. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days post-hire.
