This is a full-time night shift position. Join us and be a part of a team where your contributions truly matter. ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Clinical Practice Facilitates, implements, and evaluates the Patient Plan of Care and outcomes. Collaborates with the health care team to promote positive patient outcomes. Acts as a patient advocate. Ensures timely implementation of nursing interventions. Demonstrates appropriate clinical skills and technical competence in providing patient care. Uses sound clinical judgment and critical thinking to assess, analyze, and communicate patient information. Accurately and promptly documents all patient assessments, interventions, patient responses, and provider communications. Patient Safety Assesses patient safety risk factors and identifies patients requiring specific safety interventions (e.g., skin integrity, fall risk, appropriate use of restraints). Follows medication safety policies. Initiates appropriate safety interventions promptly. Completes Safety Tracking Tools as required. Delegation & Supervision Supervises assigned staff and delegates tasks appropriately. Takes responsibility for all care provided to assigned patients. Reports performance issues of team members to ensure safe, appropriate patient care. Patient & Family Education Assesses the educational needs of patients and families. Provides appropriate verbal and written education. Documents assessments and all education provided. Provider Orders & Clinical Workflow Conducts ongoing review, initiation, and implementation of provider orders every shift. Prioritizes responsibilities based on urgency and patient needs. Uses appropriate resources, problem-solves independently, multitasks efficiently, and demonstrates effective time-management skills. Professional Accountability & Development Seeks additional clinical experiences to enhance knowledge and competency. Actively assists coworkers and accepts additional duties or assignments. Completes required education and annual competencies in a timely manner. Participates in unit-based councils and performance-improvement initiatives. Identifies unit needs and collaborates to help facilitate solutions. QualificationsACLS required within 6 months of hire Will be required to complete Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Administration online course within one year of hire. CredentialsRN - Registered Nurse BLS - Basic Life Saving certification NIH - Stroke Certification EducationGraduate of an accredited nursing school Entry USD $36.20/Hr. Max USD $59.73/Hr.
