We're hiring Part-Time Lifeguards (approximately 6-15 hrs/week) with Saturday availability . Weekday shifts (Mon-Fri) are also be available.Facility Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PMEnjoy a supportive team environment while helping keep our pool safe and welcoming for everyone.As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all of the aquatic facility members and guests.Perks to joining our team: Free membership to onsite fitness center and pool. Access to discounted Lifeguard training course through the Red Cross. Flexible scheduling. Key Accountabilities Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities. Enforce and explain rules as necessary. Respond appropriately to any emergency. Attend all required staff meetings and training. Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by cleaning and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members. Maintain a professional attitude. Other duties as needed/assigned. Minimum Requirements Must be at least 16 years old. Must have or be willing to obtain an American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification. Site may be able to provide Lifeguard certification training at discounted rate. Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards. Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills. Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. All lifeguards must be able to perform basic lifeguard skills consisting of: 300 yard swim. Active, Passive, Submerged rescues. Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water. Other various techniques that were learned during the Lifeguard Training Program. Compensation: $14/Hour - $16/Hour.
