THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN MADISON, GA WHICH IS 30 MINUTES FROM ATHENS Competitive pay and benefits!!Shift Premium is 10% for 2nd and 3rd shiftDynamic, team-oriented environment!Opportunity for advancementEmployee referral bonus of 1kPaid vacation and holidays401K retirement with 4% company matchAffordable company provided health care plansUp to 10% annual bonus opportunityPerfect attendance bonuses ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceDetects faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to managementEnsures machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift managementEnsures routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertakenAssists with the process of the introduction of new machinery into the facilityPerform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.Diagnose and repair all types of industrial equipment using specialized experience in electrical and PLC controlled equipment.Maintain electrical equipment including electric motors, control boxes, welders and P.L.C.'sMaintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical.Repair and troubleshooting of mechanical, electric and hydraulic motors, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.Dismantle machines and removed parts for repair or disposal, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, and hoists.Measure, cut, and bend conduit such as rigid EMT, PVC, and IMC utilizing hand tools and benders.Execute preventative maintenance on motors, gearboxes, conveyor systems, pneumatic/hydraulic systems and ammonia refrigeration systems.Metal fabrication of aluminum, stainless and mild steel using TIG, MIG and ARC welders.All other duties assigned by supervisor.
