Job Description Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 You must be a US Citizen to qualify for these positions per contract specifications. Randall Construction is immediately seeking a top-tier Plumbing Superintendent with Mechanical Experience to join our team to work on large, commercial projects in Palm Bay, Orlando and across Central Florida. Position Summary: Randall's Plumbing Superintendent will oversee multiple crews and implement the installation of various sized plumbing systems, ensuring they align with mechanical systems and comply with all safety and code standards. You will manage work sequencing, interpret blueprints and plumbing code, and ensure safe and timely completion of all projects. Essential Functions: Coordinate all aspects of projects by leading teams of Foremen, Plumbers and Helpers Interpret drawings and specifications and relay information to Foreman and work crew to produce finished product. Attend job meetings Coordinate with department manager for manpower, tools, rental equipment, material deliveries, ensuring that all items are processed for a timely delivery to the jobsite Enforce ensure company policies and safety regulations are adhered to Strong leadership skills Supervision of plumbing and equipment connections Utilize experience to help guide Foreman ensuring safe work practices and rate of productivity are kept Coordinate with job with other trades to avoid conflicts Differentiate between contract work and work that would be considered in addition to the contract Communicate with Foreman and work crew on what is expected of them and ensure that instructions are understood Ensure that proper work quality is achieved and instill pride in subordinates for work quality Consult with foreman and department manager regarding input on hiring dismissing workers Interprets submittals and job orders as needed for project Assemble procurement orders for materials, equipment and tools required at each project commencement Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel Evaluate Foreman and workers abilities and use expertise to ensure the most productive job placement on a day to day basis Study schedules and estimates man-hour requirements for completion of job Review and ensure accurate time records Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes Writes report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken Qualifications / Education / Work Experience: Minimum 8 years of field experience Minimum 4 years experience in a Foreman trade level role Knowledge of Plumbing systems (and relation to mechanical systems) Understand shop math Works skillfully with tools, metals and machines Understand English and follow and provide directives to assigned helpers OSHA 30 Reliable transportation required Physical Requirements: This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
