Job Title: Quality Engineer I Location: 26531 Ynez Road, Temecula, CA 92591 Duration: 12 Months Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Shift time: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM Pay Range: $35 - $40 per hour (W2) We are seeking a "Quality Engineer I" to join one of our leading healthcare clients. Position Overview The Quality Engineer I provides Process and Quality Engineering support to manufacturing operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to customers. This role also supports product development teams to help ensure new products meet established quality standards. The position operates within a regulated quality system environment and requires adherence to corporate and divisional policies. Key Responsibilities Support manufacturing in identifying and addressing process defects, including scrap, nonconforming materials, and customer complaints. Assist in root cause investigations and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Review and interpret product specifications, quality plans, and system documentation. Support risk management activities, including participation in FMEAs and risk analyses. Monitor manufacturing processes to understand critical process steps and methods for reducing variation. Analyze quality metrics and assist with product and process improvement initiatives. Utilize quality tools and training materials to support continuous improvement efforts. Work closely with process owners to document product holds, release criteria, and quality decisions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 0-2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Basic understanding of quality engineering concepts, manufacturing processes, and quality systems. Familiarity with quality tools and problem-solving methodologies preferred.
