Job Title: Float Pool RN - Medical Surgical (Days/Nights | $43/hr Flat | Up to $25K Bonus) Location: Gainesville, FL (Candidates must live within 60 minutes of the facility) Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts | Days (7a-7p) or Nights (7p-7a) | Rotating Weekends Compensation: $43/hr flat rate (regardless of experience) Shift Differentials: $4.25/hr (Nights), $3/hr (Weekends) Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25K (Nights) / $15K (Days) Relocation Assistance: Available Job Overview We are hiring a Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to support various medical-surgical units across our healthcare system. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced RNs seeking variety, flexibility, and career growth in a high-acuity hospital setting. Note: This position requires an in-person interview (including potential facility tour and leadership meet). Must be comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care across multiple medical-surgical units Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans Advocate for patients while maintaining confidentiality and compliance Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for safe and effective care Float between units based on hospital staffing needs Qualifications Licensure: Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License (must apply for FL license) Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute Med-Surg RN experience Only Med-Surg experience will be accepted Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - Must be obtained within 30 days of start Must pass Level 2 AHCA background screening and fingerprinting If RN has less than 3 years of experience and no FL license, they must take and pass the NCLEX in Florida to be considered.
