Location: Mossville,Illinois Expected Start Date: Mar 2, 2026 Supplier Development EngineerLocation: Mossville, IL (Fully Onsite) Schedule: First Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Flexible) Duration: 12-Month Contract, with potential for extension Start Date: March 2026 We are partnering with a global manufacturing organization on an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Development Engineer to support and strengthen their supplier network. This role is ideal for a quality-focused engineering professional who enjoys working closely with suppliers to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and production readiness. Core Qualifications Experience: 5-7 years in Supplier Quality, Supplier Development, or related roles Education: Bachelor's degree (Engineering or technical discipline preferred) Quality Systems: Advanced knowledge of APQP and PPAP methodologies Auditing & Evaluation: Experience conducting QCLDM, SES, and QMS audits Corrective Actions: Strong background in 8D validation and root cause analysis Technical Documentation: Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and Gage R&R Industry Standards: Familiarity with SQEP, CPS implementation, and MQ11005 certification Key Responsibilities Validate supplier process capability, tooling, training, and equipment readiness Provide technical support for new product launches and start-up activities Support Concurrent Product and Process Development (CPPD) initiatives Monitor and manage Process Change Notifications (PCN) Lead continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and Built-In Quality principles Review supplier capacity and ensure production readiness Support supplier certification and performance management programs Technical SkillsRequired EtQ (PPAP, NCM, PCM, Deviations) Advanced Excel (analysis and reporting) Print reading and process mapping Root cause analysis Preferred Procure software Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) Lean and Six Sigma certification Soft Skills & Leadership Acts as a quality and technical leader for assigned suppliers Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities independently Highly collaborative with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams Clear and effective communicator in both individual and group settings Why This Opportunity This role offers hands-on exposure to advanced manufacturing operations and a high-performing supply chain environment.
