Registered Nurse - No Nights/Weekends

My client is a regional ophthalmology and eye care organization providing comprehensive vision services, including exams, surgery, and specialty treatments, to patients in and around Fort Wayne. Salary: $28-$40/hr., based on experience Job Summary: Provides comprehensive care to surgical patients throughout the pre-operative, operative, and recovery periods. Responsibilities include symptom assessment, medication administration, patient education, and emotional support while collaborating with the surgical team to ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant care. Job Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care in pre-surgical, operative, and recovery phases. Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to coordinate patient care. Adhere to compliance standards, ASC philosophies, state nursing regulations, and governing agency guidelines. Provide emotional and psychological support to patients, families, and staff. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Follow infection-control policies, medication administration protocols, and controlled substance regulations. Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive information. Qualifications: ASN or BSN degree required. Current RN license in the practicing state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of employment. A minimum of one year of operating room experience is preferred. Strong judgment, problem-solving, adaptability, teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
