You'll be joining a high-trust, patient-centered diagnostic imaging environment where the technologist is a clinical decision partner - not just a task executor. Physicians rely on your judgment, calculations, and patient management skills daily. NWTS is partnering with a major nonprofit healthcare system in Oregon to identify a Nuclear Medicine Technologist who wants stability, modern equipment, and meaningful patient impact - without nights, weekends, or rotating chaos schedules. What You'll Actually Do: You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures while managing both the science and the patient experience. Responsibilities include: Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals Perform gamma camera and related imaging procedures Monitor patients before, during, and after studies Perform dose calculations and data manipulation Calibrate and quality-check imaging equipment Coordinate isotope preparation and safety handling Work directly with physicians on exam protocols Educate and comfort patients who are often anxious or oncology-related This is a hands-on clinical role - not a conveyor belt imaging department.
