Job Description

Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to supporting patients undergoing Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) for opioid addiction in the Pacific Northwest region. This role focuses on delivering holistic nursing care that enhances patient health, substance use recovery, and mental wellness through collaborative treatment planning and patient empowerment. Job Summary As an RN in the MAT Clinic, you will provide safe, effective nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized treatment plans. Your responsibilities include conducting nursing procedures, monitoring patient progress, supporting medication adherence, and collaborating closely with prescribers. You will engage in motivational interviewing, educate patients and families on opioid use disorder (OUD), relapse prevention, and overdose prevention, and facilitate connections to community resources during clinic visits. Education Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience Clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment is preferred. Licenses and Certifications Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Washington State. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of hire. Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of nursing principles and patient care techniques. Ability to build effective working relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and team members. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications. Commitment to accurate documentation and quality improvement initiatives. Work Environment This full-time position involves 10-hour shifts within a 40-hour workweek.
