Job Description

We are a Christian faith-based nonprofit organization seeking a full-time, on-site/hybrid Bookkeeper to support our financial operations and help steward donor and grant resources with excellence and integrity. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting leadership reporting, and ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards. What You'll Do Maintain the general ledger and record daily financial transactions Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Process accounts payable and receivable Track restricted and unrestricted funds Support grant compliance and reporting Process payroll and assist with Form 990 preparation Prepare monthly financial reports Support annual audit processes Qualifications 3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (nonprofit preferred) Minimum associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related business field Strong understanding of fund accounting principles Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Aplos, Sage Intacct, or similar) Familiarity with Blackbaud Financial Edge is a plus, but not required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Faith Requirement As a Christian organization committed to biblical principles, employment is contingent upon: Affirmation of and agreement with the Lausanne Covenant Alignment with our statement of faith and religious mission Religious alignment is considered a bona fide occupational qualification in accordance with applicable U.S. law.
