Implement direct speech therapy modalities focused on language, articulation, fluency, resonance, and swallowing dynamics. Provide educational resources and strategies for families, empowering them to support their loved ones' progress outside of therapy sessions. Facilitate sporadic inpatient evaluations and treatments, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care for each patient. Engage in ongoing professional development and training, keeping abreast of the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology. Qualifications A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained. Certifications Required Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
