This role is ideal for a dedicated nursing professional who is passionate about delivering specialized, high-risk obstetric care and supporting patients through the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages. The successful candidate will be a key member of a team that welcomes more than 2, 600 babies into the world each year. This is a pivotal role that requires a commitment to patient-focused, whole-person care and a collaborative spirit within a team that values mutual respect and professional growth. Qualifications Required: • Graduation from an accredited nursing program. • Current California Registered Nurse License. • Upon hire: National Provider BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association and American Academy of Pediatrics. • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. Preferred: • National Certification in area of specialty. • Experience in a high-risk obstetric service, circulating in the OR, PACU services, and with high-risk postpartum and OB triage patients. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Excellence • Provide specialized nursing care to laboring patients and those with complicated medical conditions. • Circulate in the Operating Room for surgical procedures. • Provide PACU services and care for high-risk postpartum and OB triage patients. • Deliver world-class health with human connection to patients and their families. Operational Oversight • Work within a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit with 21 LDRP rooms. • Adhere to established nursing standards and protocols.
