About MARS MARS (Medical Application Repair & Sales) is a leading provider of medical equipment sales, service, and support for ambulatory surgery centers and clinics nationwide. We specialize in anesthesia machines, patient monitors, ultrasound systems, and sterilization solutions. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper with NetSuite experience to support our growing operations. Position Overview The Part-Time Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with accounts payable/receivable, reconciling accounts, and supporting monthly reporting within NetSuite. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in organized, independent work and wants a flexible schedule. Key Responsibilities Perform bookkeeping tasks directly in NetSuite (required) Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and vendor payments Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), invoicing, and payment tracking Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards Maintain accurate transaction categorization and documentation Assist with monthly financial reporting (P&L support, account reviews) Track expenses, receipts, and vendor records Support payroll reporting and preparation as needed Assist with sales tax tracking/reporting if required Provide organized reporting support for CPA and leadership team Required Qualifications NetSuite bookkeeping/accounting experience (required) 2+ years of bookkeeping experience preferred Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Experience working with a service-based or equipment-based business is a plus Schedule & Hours Approximately 20 hours per week Flexible schedule during normal business hours Potential for expanded hours as the company grows
