Job Overview As a Culinary Professional 2, you will be an essential member of our kitchen team, responsible for food preparation, quality control, and maintaining a well-organized workstation. Your culinary expertise will help us maintain the high standards of our offerings, ensuring a memorable dining experience for both members and guests. You will collaborate with a talented team, including Culinary Specialists 1 and 3, to ensure seamless kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain your workstation efficiently for daily cooking assignments. Execute food preparation and storage in compliance with Invited standards. Utilize high-quality cooking techniques for daily specials, salads, entrees, and beyond. Prepare a diverse range of dishes including soups, meats, desserts, and baked goods. Manage and receive supplies for your work area promptly and effectively. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and work areas at all times. Assist with the maintenance of kitchen equipment and inventory management. Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership regarding product needs or quality control issues. Contribute to menu planning and recipe development. Assist in preparing meals according to specific dietary requests when required. Lead the kitchen in the absence of a Sous Chef or Culinary Specialist 3. Mentor and guide junior team members (Cook 1) as necessary. Engage professionally with members and guests, accommodating special requests. Work collaboratively with teammates to foster a positive work environment. Promptly address and resolve any complaints from members and guests. Complete additional tasks as assigned by management. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 4 years of experience in a kitchen setting. Valid Food Handler Certification as required by local regulations. Strong communication and organizational skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and engage in physical activity for extended periods. Experience working in varied temperatures and environments. Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally.
