Job Details Position: Travel Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech (Labor & Delivery - Hospital) Location: Chardon, OH 44024 (Geauga County, Northeast Ohio) Assignment Type: Travel (W2) Start Date: April 12, 2026 End Date: July 11, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Hours per Week: 36 Openings: 2 Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,520 - $1,640 Job Requirements Current Surgical Assistant certification (or equivalent surgical technologist certification) Ability to complete onboarding: license/certification verification, background check, drug screen, TB screening, and immunization documentation (MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, Influenza) Completion of skills/competency assessments as required by facility Valid Driver's License or State ID Responsibilities Provide perioperative and scrub tech support for Labor & Delivery procedures, including C-sections and emergent OB cases Prepare and maintain a sterile field; set up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for obstetric surgeries Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts and document accurately Collaborate with surgeons, obstetricians, nurses, and postpartum staff to deliver safe, high-quality care to mothers and newborns Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols This travel surgical technologist opportunity in Chardon, OH is ideal for experienced Scrub Techs seeking short-term travel assignments in hospital L&D settings.
