Job Title: Plant Controller Job Description The Plant Controller will be responsible for managing standard cost accounting for a manufacturing plant. This includes maintaining bills of materials, routings, labor standards, and overhead rates, as well as analyzing material, labor, and overhead variances. The role also involves overseeing plant-level general ledger activity and month-end close processes, including inventory and work-in-process. The Plant Controller will partner with plant leadership to improve efficiency and cost accuracy, drive improvements to master data quality, govern standard costing configuration, and deliver reporting and dashboards to support decision-making in a fast-paced, imperfect-data environment. Responsibilities Own standard cost accounting for the manufacturing plant. Maintain bills of materials, routings, labor standards, and overhead rates. Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances. Oversee plant-level general ledger activity and month-end close processes. Partner with plant leadership to improve efficiency and cost accuracy. Drive improvements to master data quality. Govern standard costing configuration. Deliver reporting and dashboards to support decision-making. Essential Skills Expertise in cost accounting. Proficiency in standard costing, inventory management, and reconciliations. Experience with journal entries. Ability to create pivot tables and use Vlookups in Excel. Proficiency with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAGE. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 7+ years of experience in standard costing Cost analysis (labor, inventory, overhead, absorption) Reconciliations Recording journal entries. Experience tracking inventory and work-in-process (WIP). Experience with NetSuite is a plus. Work Environment The position is onsite at a fast-growing modular homes manufacturing company. A relocation package of 5-10k is offered to facilitate the move. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Dallastown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr. Company will be sending benefits Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Dallastown,PA.
