Registered Nurse- Endoscopy (Contract Role)Location: Rome, New York, 13440 Shift: 10-hr Day | 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Weekly Pay Rate: $2,480 - $2,640; (Negotiable based on experience) Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography). Assist gastroenterologists during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery, assessing and documenting vital signs and responses. Administer medications and sedation as per protocol. Maintain and operate endoscopic equipment according to safety standards. Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver quality care. Adhere to infection control and hospital safety standards. Required Qualifications: Active RN license in the state of New York. Minimum 2 years of recent endoscopy nursing experience. Experience in ERCP procedures is required. Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA). Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills. Additional Info: Will accept local candidates.
