Hadoop Developer Location: Charlotte, NC_| plano, TX_onsite Experience: 10-15 Years Employement type: FTE Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Hadoop Developer with strong expertise in Hadoop and Kafka ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in big data processing, performance tuning, and working in Agile environments, preferably within the banking domain. Key Responsibilities Configure, deploy, and monitor Kafka environments Work with Kafka brokers, producers, and consumers Manage topics, partitions, and offsets Develop and optimize applications using Spark and Scala/Java Work with HDFS, MapReduce, and Hadoop ecosystem tools Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting Develop shell scripts for automation Work on Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) Implement CI/CD deployments Collaborate in Agile teams using Jira and Confluence Use Git/Bitbucket for version control Develop and support metadata-driven ETL processes Required Skills Strong experience in Hadoop (Primary Skill) Strong experience in Kafka (Secondary Skill) Spark and Scala/Java development HDFS and MapReduce knowledge Shell scripting CI/CD and DevOps practices Agile methodology experience Banking domain experience (preferred)
