Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Houston, TX Job Type: Full-Time Shift: Night Shift Compensation: $70,000 - $105,000 annually Benefits: Full Benefits Package Job Summary Nurse America is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-volume maternal care team in Houston, TX. The RN will collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care using the nursing process. Minimum Qualifications & Certifications (Required) Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Active Texas RN license or active multi-state compact RN license (no stipulations) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum 3-5 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience Additional certifications may be required based on unit and clinical standards Key Responsibilities Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care aligned with patient needs and professional standards Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and assist with examinations and treatments Educate patients and families throughout the continuum of care Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans Implement and evaluate treatment, discharge, and transfer plans Delegate and coordinate care activities to support positive patient outcomes Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Texas Board of Nursing standards Promote a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities Serve as a mentor or resource to less experienced staff as needed Perform additional duties within scope of practice Compensation & Benefits Nurse America offers a competitive compensation package, including: Competitive base salary: $70,000 - $105,000 Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Life Insurance If you are a skilled Labor & Delivery RN seeking stability, career growth, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in maternal care, we encourage you to apply today.
