Senior Mobile Engineer ( Android )

Location: Plano, Texas Type: C2C/W2 (Long Term) About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer - Android to join our dynamic Application Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android mobile applications. You will also focus on improving application architecture and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, user-friendly solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Assist throughout the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, release, and maintenance. Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal application performance. Perform unit testing and ensure the robustness, reliability, and performance of applications. Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge. Implement mobile development best practices to ensure high-quality code and optimal performance. Adhere to security and data protection guidelines for mobile applications. Requirements: 6+ years of experience in native mobile app development. Mandatory experience in Native Android development (Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose). Knowledge of cross-platform frameworks (iOS, Flutter, React Native, etc.) is a plus. Proficiency in Kotlin and Java with strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and Android UI design principles. Experience in building and maintaining Android libraries using Gradle or Maven. Familiarity with Unit and Android Testing. Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and integrating third-party libraries and APIs. Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git. Understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices. Familiarity with mobile app design patterns such as MVC, MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Viper. Experience in collaborating with designers and UX experts to create outstanding user experiences. Experience building Android Modules, SDKs, or frameworks is a plus. Why Join Us?
